The Kiss

I have been in love with this piece of art since I was 18 years old. It is done by Gustav Klimt. 

It's no surprise to many of my close friends that I love it. I have a couple prints at home and even a light in my house. The original is on display in Austria. 

PS: I need to travel to Europe! 

Italy and Greece are calling our names! 

Today was Monday.

I was kinda in a trance today, going from place to place. Class to class, one of those slow motion days where you feel every emotion, lots of thinking done today. This song was playing on my pandora this afternoon while I trekked across campus in the snow. It was fitting, and it's one of those days you'll never forget how you felt. Kinda like when someone you love passes away, or your heart gets broken, or you hear bad news, or good news, etc. Just a blah kinda day, with nothing too exciting. I am thankful for a sweet phone call from Ryan today, a text from my parents and a long phone chat with one of my best girlfriends.
It is snowing outside, the fireplace is on and I couldn't be cozier in our beautiful home looking forward to a new day tomorrow.....until then.....here is a neat video someone made to the song that's been in my head all day.
